Concept
This project was part of a weekly exercise that tested the ways a designer could work with limited color, type and bleed. This project allowed two colors (not including white), two typefaces and full bleed.
I gained inspiration from listening to the Boards of Canada's music and watching their music videos, they are an electronic duo that features experimental beats and synths. Their music videos captured many landscape scenes, which allowed me to think about different man made objects in landscape areas.
The lighthouse was something that reminded me of rhythm with their constant rotating of light. The lines that make the water and the light also relate to the constant rhythm, flow and beat that electronic music has.
