Concept
This project was part of a weekly exercise that tested the ways a designer could work with limited color, type and bleed. This project allowed two colors (not including white), two typefaces and full bleed.
Gaining inspiration from listening to the Boards of Canada's music and watching their music videos, they are an electronic duo that features experimental beats and synths. Their music videos captured many landscape scenes, produced ideas surrounded by different man made objects in landscape areas.
The lighthouse was reminiscent of rhythm with its constant rotation of light. The group of lines that represent the sea of water and the light from the lighthouse, also relate to rhythm.
